Well to be clear there is no protein problem for vegans, and this includes vegan athletes as well. There is sufficient amounts of protein in fruits and vegetables alone that vegans can thrive. And for those who want more protein there is plenty in nuts, seeds, and grains. All the nutrients you will ever need are in a vegan diet without all the cholesterol and excessive fat of an animal based diet. Go vegan for your own health or go vegan as I did for the ethical reasons, but definitely GO VEGAN!!!!
